Hunger isn't good for memory, which is why it's easy to believe Kate Mantilini, Pink's or the drive-thru are your only options when your stomach's growling and it's almost midnight. There are many fine restaurants across the city ready and willing to serve you late, very late and so late it's early. And with only one restaurant each to represent downtown Chinese and Thai Town, this list is by no means exhaustive.
However, to judge by the favorite orders, many patrons may as well be eating at Norm's.
"No one eats anything fancy," says a waiter at the Standard on Sunset. "They just want grease."
